RESOLUTION NO. 9-63
A RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS ON RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 27-62
BURLINGAME AVENUE AREA OFFSTREET PARKING DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
Calif ornia, that
WHEREAS, this Council did on May 19, 1962, adopt its Resolu-
Ition of Intention No. 27-62 to acquire and construct public im-
(provements in and for said City;
WHEREAS, on August 6, 1962, this Council adopted a resolution
Jappointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the
1proposed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice;
WHEREAS, notice was given of the time and place therein
(stated in the manner provided by law, as appears from the affida-
Nits on file in the office of the City Clerk;
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at the
time therein fixed; and
WHEREAS, all written protests and other written communica-
Itions were publicly read at said meeting and all persons desiring
Ito be heard were fully heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That protests against said acquisitions and improvements
(were not signed by the owners of a majority or more of the area
lof the lands within the assessment district, or of the area of the
Ilands within the assessment district assessed for the costs and
lexpenses of said work.
2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby,
loverruled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct
copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Burlingame, California, at a meeting thereof held on the
23rd day of January , lq6�, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Crosby, Johnson, Lorenz, Martin, Morgan
NOES, Councilmen: None
ABSENT, Councilmen: None
