A RESOLUTION FOR AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR ALTERATIONS
TO OLD BURLINGAME POLICE STATION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, that:
WHEREAS, said Council has heretofore in open session duly
authorized and directed the advertising, opening and examination of
sealed proposals or bids for the work to be done and improvements
to be made; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids or proposals have been advertised for,
opened and examined as authorized and directed; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible basic bid was that of
MELVIN WILNER, doing business under the firm name and style of
WILNER CONSTRUCTION CO., in the sum of $18,393.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Council hereby rejects all others of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned and hereby
awards the contract for doing the work and improvements and furnish•
ing the materials, supplies and equipment necessary for the
alterations to the old Burlingame Police Station to MELVIN WILNER,
an individual doing business under the firm name and style of
dILNER CONSTRUCTION CO., the lowest responsible bidder for the basic
sum of $18,393.00.
2. That the City Manager of said City is hereby authorized
to make and enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith,
ind the Clerk of said City is hereby directed to attest his signa-
ture and attest thereto the corporate seal of said City.
