ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONING OF A CERTAIN DRAINAGE
EASEMENT OVER LOT 20, KENMAR TERRACE, BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA
that:
RESOLVED, by the City Council of Burlingame, California,
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 6th day of August,
1962, adopt its certain Resolution No. 46-62, entitled "Resolution
Declaring Intention to Vacate and Abandon Drainage Easement over
Lot 20, Kenmar Terrace, Burlingame, California" declaring its
intention to vacate, abandon and close that certain drainage ease-
ment in said City of Burlingame, State of California, particularly
described as follows:
A strip of land six feet (61) in width, lying at right
angles three feet (31) on each side of the following described
centerline:
BEGINNING at a point distant South 34016'30" West 3.00
feet, North 55043' 30" West 8.90 feet, and North 33022' 1011 West
11.20 feet from the most southeasterly common corner of Lots 20
21, as said lots are shown on that certain map entitled "Kenmar
Terrace Burlingame, California", which map is filed in Volume 36
of Maps at page 25, Official Records of San Mateo County; thence
from said point of beginning North 33022110t1 West 55.00 feet.
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 46-62 recites that said pro-
ceedings were being taken under and pursuant to the Public Service
Easements Vacation Law of the State of California, and expressed
its election to proceed under said law;
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 46-62 was duly adopted,
published and posted in the time, manner and form provided by law,
all as appears in the affidavits of publication and of posting on
file in the office of the City Clerk of said City;
WHEREAS, Notices of Easement Vacation were conspicuously
posted, in the manner required by law, along the lines of the
easement proposed to be vacated, which said notices stated the time
and place of hearing, and the adoption of the said Resolution No.
46-62;
WHEREAS, 'Tuesday, the 4th day of September, 1962, at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. at the Council Chambers of the City
Council in the City Hall in the City of Burlingame was fixed in

said Resolution No. 46-62 as the time and place when and where
any and all persons interested should appear and offer evidence
in connection with said vacation of said easement; and said hear-
ing having been duly and regularly continued from time to time to
the date of this Resolution;
WHEREAS, after hearing the evidence, the City Council
finds that said drainage easement hereinabove described is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said drainage
easement, as hereinabove described be, and it is hereby vacated,
abandoned and closed.

foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 15th day of

1962, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
