CONSENTING TO THE DETACHMENT OF CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE
CITY OF BURLINGAME TO PERMIT ITS ANNEXATION TO THE TOWN OF
HILL SBO ROUGH
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the City
Council of the City of Burlingame by the owners of that certain
territory hereinafter more particularly described requesting that
said territory be detached from the City of Burlingame so that it
may be annexed to the Town of Hillsborough and consenting to such
detachment; and
WHEREAS, said petitioners are all of the owners of the ter-
ritory described in said petition, and hold all of the value of
the real property in said territory; and
WHEREAS, there are less than twelve registered voters resid-
ing within said territory; and
WHEREAS, this City Council does hereby determine that it is
the best public interest that said territory be detached from the
City of Burlingame so that it may be annexed to the Town of
Hillsborough.

"Oil THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that pursuant to
Section 35304 of the Government Code of the State of California
this City Council does hereby consent to the detachment of that
certain territory within the City of Burlingame, County of San.
Mateo, State of California, more particularly described in
Exhibit A attached hereto, incorporated herein and made a part of
this Resolution, so that said territory may be annexed to the Town
of Hillsborough under the "Annexation of Uninhabited Territory 1Lct
of 1939"•
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
Resolution be forwarded to the City Clerk of the Town of Hills-
borough.

foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the nth day of November, 1962, and
adopted thereafter by the following vote:

IMBERT K, WHITE, being first duly sworn, deposes and says!
That he is the duly elected, qualified and actinrr City
Clerk of the City of Burlingame, a Sola"l law city, and Clerk of
the City Council of the said City;
That heretofore a petition eras presented and filed with
the City Council of the City of BurlinFame praying that certain
uninhabited territory with the, City of Burlin7ame, County of
San Mateo, State of California, be detn�ched from said City in
order that it might be annexed to the "'own of KillsboroUF.h;
That thereafter, all requArements of the laws pertaining
to the proceedinp-s for the detachment of said territory from the
City of Burlin7amo In -IL-he runner provided in section 35304 of the
Governnent Code were duly complied with and that a Resolution was
duly adopted on the 14th day of Novembers 1962, by said City Cotmail
of the City of Burlingame, detachinzo said territory from the City
of BurlinFnrie; and
That the boundary descript1on of said territory so
detached Is set forth In Exhibit A attached hereto, Incorporated
herein and made a part of this afPldavit and statement.

EXHIBIT A
All that real property in the County of San Mateo, State of
California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the most southerly corner of lot 18, Beverly
Terrace, an unrecorded subdivision, City of Burlingame
where said corner meets the westerly right-of-way line of
Carmelita Avenue; thence along the southerly prolongation
of said right-of-way line S 34049,421, w 60.00 feet to a
point on the boundary line of the Town of Hillsborough
which boundary is described in the Special Election of
the Town of Hillsborough of April 10, 1916, said point
also being on the boundary line of the City of Burlingame
which boundary is described in Section 201, Article 2,
Boundary, Burlingame ordinary Code dated December 1941;
thence S 55010/18/, E 25.00 feet along said common
boundary line to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence
from said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING N 34049142/, E 60.00
feet; thence S 550101181- E 63.18 feet to a point on said
common boundary of the Town of Hillsborough and the City
of Burlingame; thence S 55014,42" w 64.02 feet along said
common boundary to an angle point on said common boundary;
thence along said common boundary N 55010,181, w 40.85
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
