AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CITY SIDEWALK REPAIR PROGRAM 1965-1966
JOB No. 65-19
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the invitation
i
of bids for the City Sidewalk Repair Program for the year 1965-1966i;
and II
WHEREAS, on November 9, 1965 all bids received were
opened before the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, U. PEIRA, an individual, doing business under
the name and style of U. PEIRA & SON, submitted the lowest
responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of $16,224.00;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordere
that the bid of U. PEIRA, an individual, doing business under the
name and style of U. PEIRA & SON, for the sum of $16,224.00, be
and the same hereby is, accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work of repair, and that
the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
5th day of November, 1965, and adopted thereafter by the following
vote:

Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: Crosby
