WHEREAS, PACIFIC GREYED LINES, a California corpora-
tion, has leased from the CITY OF BURLINGAMB the following
described property:
A portion of a triangular parcel of land bounded by
Howard Avenue, Highland Avenue and California Drive
in the City of Burlingame, California, and more parts.
cularly described as follows: Beginning at the inter-
section of the northerly boundary of Howard Avenue and
the easterly boundary of Highland Avenue and running
thence northwesterly along said easterly boundary of
Highland Avenue forty feet, thence easterly to a point
on California Drive distant thereon forty feet, northerly
from the north line of Howard Avenue measured along
California Drive, thence south along the west line of
California Drive forty feet to the north line of Howard
Avenue, thence west along the north line of Howard
,venue to the point of beg;inninp,
under the terms anti conditions contained in that certain lease
dated the 26th day of June, 1954; and
WHEREAS, Section 2 under heading "Lessor Agrees", page 5
of said lease grants to PACIFIC GREYHOUND LINES an option for a
j new lease for a term of five (5) years commencing on the 15th day
of October, 1959, at a rental to be mutually agreed upon; and
WHE-REAS, PACIFIC GREYHOUND LINES has exercised the said
option and a monthly rental of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) has
been concluded to be reasonable and fair to both parties; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
does consider it proper to enter into the new lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RrSOLM that the City Council of
the City of Burlingame does hereby lease to PACIFIC GREY11OUNP LINES$
a California corporation, the property above mentioned and des-
cribed for a period of five (5) years, with an option of five (5)
years more according to the terms, conditions and specifications
particularly set forth in the attached lease, ant' that the hcaynr
be and she is hereby authorized, for and on behalf of said City
Council to execute said attached lease.
