RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND VARIANCE
RESO-1-99
RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made fora side
setback variance for construction of a single-story addition at 1644 Coronado Way, zoned R-1, APN:
025-204-260;Bryna Alpine—property owner, and Harlan Richardson;Richardson Construction applicant:
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on
December 141998 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written
materials and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that:
1. On the basis of the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and
addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set
forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption Class 19, Section
15303- construction and location of new, small facilities or structures, is hereby approved.
2. Said variance is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
Findings for such variance are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting.
3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official
records of the County of San Mateo.
I, David Luzuriag , Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City ofurlingame, do hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning
Commission held on the 14 th day of December, 1998 , by the following vote:

Conditions of approval categorical exemption and variance
1644 CORONADO WAY
effective JANUARY 4, 1999
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department
date stamped December 7, 1998, sheets 1-3; and
2. that a 20'-deep by 10'-wide space, clear of all obstructions, shall be provided in the garage
to accommodate one car; and
3. that the project shall meet the California Building and Fire Code, 1995 Edition as amended
by the City of Burlingame.
