RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION, SPECIAL
PERMIT AND DESIGN REVIEW
RESO-5-99
RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made
for a special permit for a 32'-0" tall addition and design review for construction of a two-story
addition at 1145 Drake Avenue, zoned R-1, APN: 026-182-030; Victor and Marina Aenlle,
owners, and Ben Behravesh, applicant:
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of
Burlingame on January 11, 1999, at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all
other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning
Commission that:
1. On the Basis of the documents submitted and reviewed and comments received
and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the
project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical
Exemption Class 19, Section 15303 - construction and location of new, small facilities or
structures, is hereby approved.
2 Said special permit and design review is approved, subject to the conditions set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such variance are set forth in the minutes and
recording of said meeting.
3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the
official records of the County of San Mateo. OA

I, David Luzuriaga, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Planning Commission held on the 11th day of January, 1999,by the following vote:
AYES: COMMISSIONERS BOJUES, COFFEY, KEIGHRAN, KEY, LUZURIAGA, VISTICA AND DEAL

Conditions of approval of categorical exemption, special permit and design review.

effective January 20, 1999
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department
dated stamped November 5, 1998, sheets A-1 through A-3 and the revised material, sheet
A-4, submitted to this office on January 6, 1999;
2. that the applicant shall match the window size, proportion, glazing and muntins of the
addition with the existing residence;
3. that the applicant shall match the fascia and rake details of the addition with the existing
residence;
4. that the applicant shall ensure the exterior materials and plane terminations match the
existing residence;
5. that the conditions of the City Engineer(memo dated November 9, 1998) shall be met;
6. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the California Building and Fire Codes,
1995 as amended by the City of Burlingame.
