Date: 11.02.99 Margare vi Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION APPROVING TEN YEAR EXTENSION OF CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS RESOLUTION- 111-99 RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a ten- year extension of February 27, 1989 =royal of two conditional use Hermits for an accessory structure used as an art studio at 1750 Quesada Way, zoned R-1 , APN: 025-141-250; Lee and Nadia Wenger, proprty owners; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on October 25,1999 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Comcaission that: 1 . On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption, per Article 19. Section: 15301 Class 1 - (e) additions to existing structures provided the addition will not result in an increase of more than 50% of the floor area of the structures before the addition is hereby approved. 2. Said ten-year extension of conditional use permits is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for ten-year extension of such conditional use permits is as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. CHAIRM N I, Stan Vistica , Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 25th day of October, 1999 , by the following vote: AYES: COMMISSIONERS: BOJUES , DEAL , DRELLING , KEIGHRAN , LUZURLAGA , VISTICA AND COFFEY NOES: COMMISSIONERS: NONE ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: NONE SECRETARY 111111IIIIIIIIIIIII1IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII R1 Page :p 0022 oz 66660 EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval for ten-year extension of categorical exemption and conditional use permits for use of an accessory structure as an art studio 1750 QUESADA WAY effective NOVEMBER 1, 1999 1. that the conditions of the City Engineer's January 23, 1989 and the Chief Building Inspector's January 26, 1989 memos shall be met; 2. that this structure shall be used as an art studio only and shall not be used for holding classes, for exhibitions or for living purposes; 3. that this structure shall be maintained as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped January 17, 1%9; and 4. that this permit shall be in force for 10 years (October, 2009) at which time it shall be reviewed by the Planning Commission.
