Date: 07.24.00 AMarga4rMonroe City Pla er RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION, AND DES1'GN REV1EW AND SPECIAL PERMIT FOR HEIGHT AND DECLINING HEIGHT ENVELOPE FOR SECOND STORY ADDITION RESOLUTION-149-2000 RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a Categorical Exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a Design Review and a Special Permit for Height and DeclininC7 Height Envelope for a second story addition at 735 Acacia Drive. zoned R-1. Beth and Keith Taylor, property owners: APN: 029-043-110: WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on Tune 26- 2000 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption, per CEQA Section 15303, Existing Facilities, Class 3(a), Single-family residences not in conjunction with the building of two or more such units. In urbanized areas, up to three single-family residences may be constructed under this is hereby approved. 2. Said Design Review and Special Permit for Height and Declining Height Envelope are approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such Design Review and Special Permit for Height are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. Sheets A-1, A-3 and A-4; 2. that the project shall be constructed as presented in the plans approved by the Planning Commission and that any changes to height, roof style, placement of windows or dormers may be subject to review by the Planning commission; 3. that the applicant shall comply with the requirements of the memo from the Department of Public Works, dated April 17, 2000; and 4. that any improvements for the use shall meet all California Building and Fire Codes, 1998 Edition as amended by the City of Burlingame.
