Date: 01.05.hy_4aLALn 00 Margaret Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND DESIGN REVIEW RESOLUTION #1-00 RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for de_sign review for a second-story addition at 117 Bancroft Road. zoned R-1_ APN: 029-283-100• Steve and Louise Natoli property owners; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on December 13, 1999, at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption, per Article 19. Section: 15303 - Class 3 - construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures including (a) single-family residences not in conjunction with the building of two or more such units is hereby approved. In urbanized areas, up to three single-family residences may be constructed or converted under this exemption. 2. Said design review is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such design review is as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. SCHEDULED PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION MEETING: STAFF REVIEW BY MEETING ON: Monday, June 21, 1999 THANKS, Maureen/Janice/Ruben Date of Comments 'KcrEr -e G. /-a / �r'I -ex IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 20004 03:16P RESOLUTION NO. 1 -2000 RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT TO CHANGE THE DESIGNATION OF 320-350 PRIMROSE ROAD FROM SHOPPING AND SERVICE COMMERCIAL TO OFFICE USE RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame: WHEREAS, the property owners of 320-350 Primrose Road wish to have office uses on the ground floor of the property, and have applied to the City for a General Plan Amendment to change the land use designation on the property to allow such a use; and WHEREAS, such a use would be consistent with the land use patterns in the area and the development of the property, and would not adversely affect other property in the area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame held a public hearing on November 8, 1999, at which time the Commission reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented to the Commission on this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposed General Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, on December 6, 1999, the City Council held a public hearing on the proposed General Plan Amendment and received and considered all written and oral testimony presented on the matter; and WHEREAS, the City Council considered the negative declaration prepared in connection with the General Plan Amendment and approved it; and WHEREAS, on December 6, 1999, the City Council approved the General Plan Amendment proposed for 320-350 Primrose Road by a resolution combining approval of the Amendment and the underlying conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the proposed General Plan Amendment was the first general plan amendment to the land use element of the City General Plan adopted in 1999; and WHEREAS, this Resolution is intended to separately confirm the General Plan Amendment approval so that the administration and application of the General Plan is simplified by reference to an Amendment resolution standing alone, NOW,THEREFORE,IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED: 1.
