RESOLUTION APPROVING 1 YEAR EXTENSION OF CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION,
CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS AND SPECIAL PERMITS
RESOLUTION=7-2000
RESOLVED,by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS,a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a one y�
extension of the February 8, 1999 ai rn oval of two conditional use permits for windows more than 10'
above grade(12pr seand for recreational ,se(work room,and two Special p=its for a gator
structure in the rear 40%of the lot and greater than 28''n length(30' r000 P for construction of a new
one-car garage at 1516 Forest View Avenue,zoned R-1,APN: 028-131-080;Christina Jp-Toma&Burt
Toma;property owners;
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on
January 10,2000,at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and
testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW,THEREFORE,it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that:
1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed,and comments
received and addressed by this commission,it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the
project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption,per
Article 19, Section 15303, new construction or conversion of small structures Class 3 (e), accessory
(appurtenant) structures including garages, carports, patios, swimming pools and fences is hereby
approved.
2. Said one year extension of conditional use permits and special permits is approved,subject to
the conditions set forth in Exhibit"A"attached hereto. Findings for one year extension are as set forth in the
minutes and recording of said meeting.
3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded inthe sial records
of the County of San Mateo.

EXHIBIT "A"
Conditions of approval for 1 year extension of categorical exemption, conditional use permits and
special permits
1516 FOREST VIEW AVENUE
effective JANUARY 10, 2000
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and
date stamped January 28, 1999, Sheet G-1, Site Pian, Floor Plan and Elevations;
2. that the conditions of the Chief Building Official's November 23, 1998 memo shall be met;
3. that the accessory structure shall never be used for accessory living or sleeping purposes; shall
never include a kitchen, and shall not include additional utility services and/or a toilet without
an amendment to this conditional use permit;
4. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the California Building and Uniform Fire
Codes, 1998 Edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame; and
5. that if a building permit is not issued by February 17, 2001 for the improvements as described
on the January 28, 1999 plans approved by the Planning Commission, then these exceptions
shall be considered to have expired, no further extension shall be allowed.
