Date: 02.08.00 Margaret Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND DETERMINATION OF GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY RESOLUTION-33-2000 RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and a request has been made for a determination of general plan consistency for the proposed acquisition of property by the City of Burlingame to reconstruct the City's cor2oration yard at 1347-1369 North Carolan Avenue, zoned M-1, Dorrit H. Hurt Trs, 1244 Jackling Drive Burlingame, CA 94010. property owner, 1347 North Carolan, APN: 026-121-070 and Charles & Asta Huppe�._Trs. 428 Scenic Avenue, Piedmont, CA 94611, property owner, 1369 North Carolan Avenue; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on Januar)�31, 2000' at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and a categorical exemption, per CERA Section 15302, Class 2(b), replacement or reconstruction of a commercial facility with a new facility of substantially the same size, purpose and capacity is hereby approved. 2. The proposed project has been determined to be consistent with the Iand use designation and policies of the City of Burlingame General Plan. Findings for such determination of general plan consistency are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the o 'al records of the County of San Mateo.
