Angelo Orphan, property owner., APN: 026-363-500; WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on_ April 10,2000 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and Categorical Exemption, per CEQA Section 15301, construction of small structures, is hereby approved. 2. Said sign exception is approved, subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such sign exception are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified cop of this resolution be r c rded in the official records of the County of San Mateo. DAVE LUZUO AGA, RMAN 1, Ann Kei hran , Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 10th day of April 2000 , by the following vote: AYES: COMMISSIONERS: DEAL, KEIGHRAN, VISTICA, OSTERLING AND LUZURIAGA NOES: COMMISSIONERS: NONE ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: BOJUES AND DREILING ABSTAIN: COMMISSIONERS: ANN KEIGIWAN, SECRETARY 11111111IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII 20@0z 0058309 EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval Categorical Exemption and Sign Exception 500 Airport Boulevard effective April 17, 2000 Conditions: 1. that the wall signs (Sign B and C) shall be installed as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped February 22, 2000 (site plan, building elevations and sign elevations); 2. that the maximum height of the letters on Sign B and C shall be 34" (2'-10"); 3. that the maximum height of letters above adjacent grade shall be 37'-6"; 4. that the letters shall not be internally illuminated, nor shall any exterior light be installed and directed at Signs B or C; 5. that if this tenant leaves this building, the sign shall be removed within 30 days after the lease is terminated; and 6. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the municipal code and of the California Building and Fire Codes, 1998 Edition, as amended by the City of Burlingame.
