RESOLUTION NO• 16 -64
REQUESTING COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS, , DIVISION OF
2 FOR OFF RMP FROM BAYSHORE FREEWAY
WHEREAS, traffic Proceeding north on the Bayshore Freeway
to Old Bayshore Highway in Burlingame is backed up and congestion
is caused just South of the Broadway -Burlingame Overpass; and
WHEREAS, said condition is becoming worse and is a danger -
our condition; and
WHEREAS, the owners of property have offered to assist
and help in the construction of an off ramp to relieve said
bad conditions.
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Burlingame, California:
SECTION 1-. Request is hereby made for a cooperative
agreement with the State of California, Department of Public
Works, Division of Highways, to accomplish the construction of
said off ramp on the east side of the Bayshore Freeway in
Burlingame just South of the Broadway -Burlingame Overpass.
That the City of Burlingame through the owners and develop
ers of land on Old Bayshore Highway are willing to help in the
accomplishment of the construction of said off ramp; said help
to be determined in the cooperative agreement to be presented
and agreed to after negotiations and approval by the City and Stale.
SECTION II. This resolution shall take effect from and
after its passage.
