AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO
WESTERN GREYHOUND LINES (DIVISION OF GREYHOUND LINES, INC.),
A CORPORATION
WHEREAS, the City of Burlingame, a municipal corpora-
tion, is the owner of that certain parcel of real property
situated within the City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State
of California, hereinafter more particularly described; and
WHEREAS, said parcel of real property has been under
lease to PACIFIC GREYHOUND LINES, a California corporation, under
a lease dated June 26, 1954, and renewed or extended for a period
ending October 14, 1964, for the purpose of conducting a motor
bus depot and/or terminal and for the operation and conducting of
certain concessions therein; and
WHEREAS, WESTERN GREYHOUND LINES (DIVISION OF GREYHOUND
LINES, INC.), a California corporation, successor to PACIFIC
GREYHOUND LINES, a California corporation, has proposed to lease
said parcel of real property for like uses and purposes for a
term of five (5) years commencing October 15, 1964, at a rental,
and upon all the terms and conditions and provisions, of that
certain lease dated November 2, 1964; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame
does consider it proper to enter into said lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Burlingame does hereby authorize the execution of
said lease to WESTERN GREYHOUND LINES (DIVISION OF GREYHOUND LINES;
INC.), for a term of five (5) years, with an option to renew said
lease for an additional term of five (5) years, according to the
terms, conditions and provisions set forth in the attached lease
dated November 2, 1964, and that the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to execute said lease for and on behalf of said
City Council and that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, author-
ized and directed to attest his signature.
Said real property is particularly described as follows:
A portion of triangular parcel of land. bounded by
Howard Avenue, Highland Avenue and California
Drive in the City of Burlingame, California, and
more particularly described as follows: Beginning
at the intersection of the northerly boundary of
Howard Avenue and the easterly boundary of High-
land Avenue and running thence northwesterly
along said easterly boundary of Highland Avenue
forty feet, thence easterly to a point on
California Drive distant thereon forty feet,
northerly from the north line of Howard Avenue
measured along California Drive, thence south
along the west line of California Drive forty
feet to the north line of Howard Avenue, thence
west along the north line of Howard Avenue to
the point of beginning,

the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 2nd day of November ,
1964, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
