APPROVING FINAL MAP ENTITLED "ANZA AIRPORT PARK
UNIT NO. 1 BURLINGAME SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
AND DIRECTING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT TO CONSTRUCT
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, that:
WHEREAS, the proposed final map entitled "ANZA AIRPORT PARK
UNIT NO. 1 BURLINGAME SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA" has been
recommended for approval by the Planning Commission of said City
and submitted to the City Council thereof, and said map has been
checked and approved by the City Engineer for engineering data
and by the City Attorney with reference to all legal forms and
notes used in affidavits, certificates, endorsements and offers
and acceptances of dedications and seals required by law, and
other general legal form thereof; and
WHEREAS, Reclamation District No. 2097, a Public Corporation,
as Owner, and Anza Pacific Corporation, a California corporation,
as Owner and as Trustee of said District, have executed and sub-
mitted to said City Council for execution an agreement in writing
by the terms of which said corporations, as Subdivider, agree to
construct and install public improvements within the area de-
lineated on said map in the approximate amount of Ninety-eight
Thousand, Four Hundred Ten Dollars and Seventy-four Cents
($98,410.74) in accordance with City requirements and in a good
and workmanlike manner, and under the direction and to the
satisfaction of the City Engineer, as more particularly set
forth in said agreement, and to commence work on the 17th day of
November, 1964, and to complete said work within 180 calendar
days thereafter; and
WHEREAS, said work is to be done according to two separate
schedules, namely Schedule I and Schedule II, special assessment

proceedings of the Bayside Improvement District, as previously
approved by this Council, the contracts therefor having been
awarded as to Schedule I to KUNZ PAVING CO., a corporation, and
as to Schedule II to IIENRICK & ASSOCIATES; and
WHEREAS, a faithful performance bond in the amount of
$42,571.56, and a labor and materials bond in the amount of
$42,571.56, with acceptable sureties, have been executed and pre-
sented by the contractor as to Schedule I, and a faithful per-
formance bond in the amount of $118,979.50, and a labor and
materials bond in the amount of $59,489.75, with acceptable
sureties, have been executed and presented by the contractor as
to Schedule II, and said bonds having been duly approved by the
City Attorney of said City; and
WHEREAS, the approximate cost of construction and installa-
tion of said public works does not exceed the total amount of
the two faithful performance bonds;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows
(1) That said final map entitled "ANZA AIRPORT PARK UNIT
NO, 1 BURLINGAME SAN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA' as hereinabove
set forth be, and the same is hereby, approved and the offers of
dedication thereon set forth be, and the same are hereby accepted,
and the Clerk of said City be, and he is hereby, authorized and
directed to endorse thereon over his signature an order of this
Council approving said map and accepting the said offers of dedi-
cation thereon, and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said
City of Burlingame.
(2) That pursuant to the provisions of Section 11612 of the
Business and Professions Code, the contractors' faithful per-
formance and labor and materials bonds be accepted in lieu of any
other security for the construction and installation of said
improvements.
(3) That said Agreement be, and the same is hereby, accepted
and approved, and the City Manager of said City be, and he is

hereby, authorized and directed to affix thereto the name of
said City over his signature, and the Clerk of said City is
hereby authorized and directed to attest the signature of said
City Manager and affix thereto the corporate seal of said City.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the Iri'day of
November , 1964, and adopted thereafter by the following
votes:
