HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 160-1964RESOLUTION NO. 160-64 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FIRE ALARM CIRCUIT BURLINGAME MANOR AND HILLS SUBDIVISIONS JOB NO. 64-36 WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the invitation of bids for the construction and installation of a Fire Alarm Circuit in the Burlingame Manor and Hills Subdivisions; and WHEREAS, on December 7, 1964, all bids received were opened before the City Clerk, the Director of Public Works and the Chief of the Fire Department; and WHEREAS, WILLIAM T. KENNEDY, an individual doing business under the firm name and style of KENNEDY ELECTRIC CO., submitted the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of $4,705.30; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that the bid of WILLIAM T. KENNEDY, an individual doing business under the firm name and style of KENNEDY ELECTRIC CO., for the sum of $4,705.30 be, and the same is hereby, accepted; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work of construc- tion and installation, and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract.
