Alj,-�RDING CONTRACT FOR RESURFACING OF MISCELLANEOUS
SECONDARY CITY STREETS
JOB NO. 64-18
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the invitation of
bids for the resurfacing of miscellaneous secondary City streets;
and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1964, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk, the City Manager and the Director of Public
Works; and
WHEREAS, THE LOWRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC., a corporation, sub-
mitted the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum
of Forty -Six Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty -Nine Dollars and Twenty-S
(Cents ($46,869.26);
NOT,,', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered that
the bid of THE LOINTRIE PAVING COMPANY, INC., a corporation, for the
sum of $46,869.26 be, and the same is hereby accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into betweer
the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burl•
in-0
ame for the performance of said work of installation and con-
struction, and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby author-
ized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said
contract.

foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 21st day of September, 1964) and adopted
