AWARDING CONTRACT FOR STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS RAY DRIVE,
BALBOA WAY AND CALIFORNIA DRIVE JOB NO. 64-14
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized invitation of bids
for the construction and installation of storm drainage improve-
ments in Ray Drive, Balboa Way and California Drive; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1964, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk, the City Manager and the Director
of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, FAIRLEY CONSTRUCTORS, a corporation, submitted
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred and Seventy-three Dollars ($18,473.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered
that the bid of FAIRLEY CONSTRUCTORS, a corporation, for the sum
of Eighteen Thousand Four Hundred and Seventy-three Dollars
($18,473.00) be, and the same is hereby, accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work of con-
struction and installation, and that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame
to execute said contract.

the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of
the City Council held on the 21st day of September ,
1964, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
