A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
BAYSIDE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California,
that the public interest, convenience and necessity require, and that
it is the intention of said Council to make changes and modifications
in the assessment filed pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 94-64
adopted by this Council on July 20, 1964, by increasing the estimate of
cost and the total assessment from $490,800 to $610,000, and by redis-
tributing the assessment in accordance with the revised assessment roll
prepared by the Engineer of Work, and on file in the office of the City
Clerk, which indicates the changes proposed to be made and which shall
govern for all details thereof. The Engineer shall make said changes
on the face of the assessment.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Thursday, the 24th day of September,
1964, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the regular meeting place of
said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Burlingame, California, are
hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said Council will
consider the matter of making said changes and modifications and hearing
all protests and persons interested therein. Any interested person
having any objection to the changes proposed to be made may appear
before the Council and show cause why said changes should not be ordered.
Reference is made to plans, profiles, detailed drawings and speci-
fications on file in the office of the City Engineer, indicating any
changes proposed to be made in the Engineer's Report, which shall
govern for all details thereof.
The City Clerk of said City shall cause a copy of this resolution
to be published once in the Advance -Star, a newspaper of general cir-
culation published in said City and the paper in which the Notice of
Improvement under said Resolution of Intention was published, and to be
mailed to all persons owning real property whose assessments are
increased and whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized
assessment roll, or as known to the Clerk, said publication to be at
least ten days before said day of hearing, and said mailing to be at
least twenty days prior to said hearing date.
The publication and posting of the Notice of Improvement reciting
an estimated cost of $610,000 are hereby ratified and approved. The
mailing of Notice to Property Owners setting forth estimated assess-
ments as shown on said revised assessment roll and accompanied by
copies of this resolution, which mailing was completed on September 4,
1964, is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
