RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
REGULATING PARKING AT CITY LICENSED PROPERTY AT THE CORNER OF
MARSTEN ROAD AND ROLLINS ROAD AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWING OF
NON -AUTHORIZED VEHICLES FROM THE LICENSED PROPERTY
RESOLVED, by the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF BURLINGAME, California, that:
WHEREAS, the City has been granted alicense to use the real property located on the southeast
corner of Rollins Road and Marsten Road in the City ofBurlingame to provide parking for City -owned
vehicles and equipment and vehicles operated by City employees; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Vehicle Code section 22651(n), this property is only for use by these
types of vehicles and not for use by others; and
WHEREAS, the ability ofthe City to sustainthis access at alltimes is vital to the functioning ofthe
Public Works Department so that removal ofunauthorized vehicles is necessary to ensure this access and
security,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED, ORDERED and DETERMINED as follows:
1. No person shall park anyvehicle onthe City -licensed property at the southeast comer of
Rollins Road and Marsten Road unless authorized by the City to do so. The property is reserved for the
use of City employees' vehicles and City vehicles and equipment only.
2. The Burlingame Police Department is authorized to remove any vehicle or equipment in
violation of this restriction in accordance with Vehicle Code section 22651(n).
3. The restrictions set forth in this resolution shall be operative upon the installation of signs
giving notice of these limitations _
