HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 082-1964i RESOLUTION NO. 82 - 64 DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE PORTION OF BAYSHORE HIGHWAY, A PUBLIC STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF BURLINGAME; REFERRING TO A MAP OR PLAN ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK FOR PARTICULARS AS TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame: i 1. That the public interest and convenience require and that it is the intention of the said Council to vacate certain j� portions of the Bayshore Highway, a public street within the City of Burlingame, which portions are particularly described in the exhibit attached to, incorporated in, and made a part of this i resolution by reference. 2. A map or plan showing and delineating the portion of I said street proposed to be vacated under these proceedings and i ! the easements proposed to be reserved and excepted from such vacations entitled "BAYSHORE HIGHWAY STREET VACATION -- PHILLIPS" ` !i is on file in the office of the City Clerk, and reference is here-! by made to said map or plan for particulars as to said vacation. 3. The City Council elects to proceed under the provisions of the STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941. ! it 4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the 3rd day of August, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock p.m, at the Council Chambers of i the City Council in the City Hall in the City of Burlingame is IIhereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons in - it terested in the proposed vacation of said portion of said public i! street. i 5. The Clerk of said city shall cause this resolution to be published once in the ADVANCE -STAR, a newspaper of general ij circulation published in and circulated in said city which said h newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose. At least ten days before the date set for hearing, the Director of Public Works of said city shall cause to be conspicu- ously posted along the lines of that portion of said public street proposed to be vacated at least 3 notices of vacation, not more than 300 feet apart, stating the time and place of hearing and the passage of this resolution.
