AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SHOP
BUILDING AT THE BURLINGAME CORPORATION YARD
JOB NO. 32-64 ___ '•
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Burlingame authorizec
the invitation of bids for a contract for the construction of a
shop building at the Burlingame Corporation Yard; and
WHEREAS, on May 18, 1964, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, TANKLAGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., a corporation,
submitted the lowest responsible bid for doing the said work for
Fifty-six Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-nine Dollars ($56,499.00);
N014, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered
that the bid of TANKLAGE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., a corporation;
for the sum of $56,499.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove named and the City of
Burlingame for the performance of said work of construction,
and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said
contract.

the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 13th day of May, 1964,
by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen: Crosby-George-johnson-Martin.
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: Diederichsen.
