AWARDING CONTRt,CT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
MILLS ESTATE NO. 19 WATER SYSTEM --
PUMPS AND CONTROLS JOB NO. 64-12
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the invitation of
bids for a contract for installation of pumps and controls as
part of the Mills Estate No. 19 water system; and
WHEREAS, on March 16, 1964, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, W. T. KENNEDY, an individual doing business
under the firm name and style of KENNEDY ELECTRIC CO., submitted
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$40,267.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered
that the bid of the said W. T. KENNEDY, doing business under the
firm name and style of KENNEDY ELECTRIC CO., for the sum of
$40,267.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
by the successful bidder herein above referred to and the City of
Burlingame for the performance of said work, and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame to execute said contract.
I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk, do hereby certify
that the foregoing Resolution was introduced at a regular meeting

of the City Council held on the 16th day of March, 1964, and
adopted thereafter by the following vote:
