HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 027-1964.r I�ESOLUTIOW NO. 27 - 64 REGULATING THE HOURS OF PARKING ON MUNICIPAL, PARKING LOT - CAPUCHINO AVENUE RESOLVED, by the City Council of Burlingame, California, and it does hereby FIND, ORDER AND DETERMINE that: 1. No person shall park any vehicle on the municipal parking lot situated on the westerly side of Capuchino Avenue, as said lot is shown and designated on that certain map or diagram entitled "Acquisition Map Broadway Parking and Lighting District Burlingame San Mateo County California" dated August, 1962, and which said map is attached to, incorporated in, and made a part of the Engineer's Report for the Broadway Parking and Lighting District, which report is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, for a period longer than two (2) hours between the hours of 9:30 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., Sundays and holidays excepted. 2. No person who parks any vehicle more than once in any 24-hour period shall permit said vehicle to remain thereon in excess of a total of 2 hours on any day, Sundays and 'holidays excepted. For the purpose of this resolution a day is determined to be the period of time between one midnight and the following midnight. 3. No person shall park any vehicle on said lot between the hours of 4:00 A.M. and 9:30 A.M., Sundays and holidays exceptec 4. Unless otherwise provided by resolution or ordinance no person shall park any vehicle on any other property owned or maintained by the City as a municipal parking lot for a period longer than two (2) hours between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M., Sundays and holidays excepted, nor shall any person park - 1 - any vehicle on any such other property for a period longer than one (1) hour between the said hours from and including the first to twenty-fourth days of December in any year, Sundays and holidays excepted. 5. Such parking lots as may be designated hereafter by resolution of this City Council as "all day" parking lots are hereby excepted from the provisions of this resolution. 6. The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to procure and install appropriate signs giving notice of the provisions of this resolution. 7. This resolution shall be effective upon the installation of said signs. clxl� Mayor 1, Herbert K.
