RESOLUTION NO. 13 - 64
A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
BURLINGAME AVENUE AREA OFF-STREET PARKING DISTRICT
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame, California,
that the public interest and convenience require and that it is the
intention of said Council to make certain changes and modifications in
the proceedings and in the Engineer's Report filed pursuant to Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 27-62 adopted by this Council on May 19, 1962,
as modified, as follows:
1. Change and modify the acquisitions to be made, the work to be
done and the plans and specifications therefor, as follows, to -wit:
(a) Eliminate those portions of the proposed Parking
Lot A described in the Engineer's Report as Parcels 4A, 3A and
5A, and reduce the credit towards the proposed City contribution
set forth in Paragraph 9 of the Resolution of Intention repre-
sented by the contribution of Parcel 4A in the amount of $41,000.
(b) Eliminate those portions of proposed Parking Lot E
described in the Engineer's Report•as Parcel 6E and Parcel 1E.
(c) Eliminate the proposed 10-foot pedestrian lane to
proposed Parking Lots K and L from Burlingame Avenue, consisting
of the northeasterly 10 feet of Lot 7B, Block 1, Town of
Burlingame.
All of the lots and parcels of land and proposed Parking Lots re-
ferred to herein are shown on the acquisition map which is part of the
Engineer's Report on file in the office of the City Clerk to which
reference is hereby made.
2. Change and modify the assessment and diagram to assess the
parcels proposed to be eliminated with their proportionate share of the
cost of the project, in proportion to benefits, at the same rates and
subject to the same opportunities for credits for existing parking
facilities as the other properties assessed.
3. As possible alternatives to the ordering of the changes
described above, the Council proposes to consider increasing the total
assessment by the estimated amount of $300,000.00 and assessing
the amount of the increase against all benefited properties in the
district in proportion to benefits; or increasing the amount of the
proposed City contribution; or ordering elimination of some number less
than all of the foregoing proposed eliminations and either increasing
assessments or City contribution, or both, to the extent necessary to
acquire and improve the parcels remaining in the project.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the 3rd day of February, 1964,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P. M. at the regular meeting place of said
Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Burlingame, California, are here-
by fixed as the time and place when and where said Council will consider
the matter of ordering said changes and modifications and hearing all
protests and persons interested therein.
The City Clerk shall cause a copy of this Resolution to be publish-
ed twice in the Advance Star, a newspaper of general circulation pub-
lished in said City and the paper in which the Notice of Improvement under
said Resolution of Intention was published, the first publication to be
at least ten days before said day of hearing. He shall also post a
copy of said notice on the City Hall Bulletin Board.
The City Clerk shall also mail a copy of this resolution to all
persons owning the parcels proposed to be eliminated, whose names and
addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll or as known to
the Clerk.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Burlingame, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 20th day of January 1964 ,
