AWARDING CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FORCE MAIN
BAY SHORE HIGHWAY SEWAGE PUMP STATION
JOB NO. 65-21
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the invitation
to bids for the installation and construction of a force main to
serve the Bay Shore Highway Sewage Pump Station; and
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1965, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, FAIRLEY, INC., a corporation and HAAS, INC., a
corporation, partners doing business under the partnership name
of E. T. HAAS COMPANY, submitted the lowest responsible bid for
doing said work for the sum of $12,892.50;
NM,7, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby ordered
that the joint bid of FAIRLEY, INC., a corporation, and HAAS, INC.
a corporation, partners doing business under the partnership name
of E. T. HAAS COMPANY, for the sum of $12,892.50 be and the same
is hereby accepted;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidders hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work of installa-
tion and construction, and that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to
execute said contract.
I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day
of September, 1965, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Crosby-Diederichsen-George-Johnson-Martin.
NOES: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: None
