ESTABLISHING PROPOSED SCHEDULE FOR COMPLI_-'1NCE WITH
REQUIREMENTS OF REGIONAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL
BOARD, SAN FRANCISCO BAY REGION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, and it does hereby FIND, ORDER AND DETERMINE that:
1. Pursuant to the requirements of Resolution No. 644 of
the Regional Water Pollution Control Board, San Francisco Bay
Region, adopted on March 18, 1965, this Council has heretofore
accepted a preliminary report, plans and cost estimates for
facilities necessary for compliance with all of the requirements
set forth in Resolution No. 472 of said Board.
2. This Council will appropriate funds in its 1965-1966
budget to provide an additional Utilityman whose primary responsi-
bility will be to service the plant effluent screens in the i
Burlingame Sewage Disposal Plant.
3. Said additional Utilityman will be employed on or before i
August 1, 1965.
4. Within six months after submission to the Board of
it
Supervisors of San Mateo County of a report on "Sewage Collection
and Disposal Phase of San Mateo County Sewerage Study" this

Council will cause to be filed with said Control Board a time
schedule for each of the major steps necessary for compliance
with said Control Board's requirements as set forth in its several
i
resolutions heretofore adopted, which time schedule shall include
a. Acceptance of final plans and specifications for
i
all necessary facilities;
b. Provision for financing;
c. Award of all construction contracts; and

d. Completion of construction.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby,

ordered to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the i
!I Regional Water Pollution Control Board, San Francisco Bay Region, j

I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the 3rd day of May, 1965, and adopted
thereafter by the following votes:
