DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF HIGM4AY ROAD,
A PUBLIC STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF BURLINGAME, REFERRING
TO A MAP OR PLAN ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK
FOR PARTICULARS AS TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; AND FIXING
THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED
IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
1. That the public interest and convenience require, and
that it is the intention of said Council, to vacate a certain
portion of Highway Road, a public street within the City of
Burlingame, which portion is particularly described in Exhibit A,
attached to, incorporated in, and made a part of this resolution
by reference.
2. A map or plan showing and delineating the portion of
said street proposed to be vacated under these proceedings en-
titled "ADELINE DRIVE & EL CAMINO REAL INTERSECTION RECONSTRUCTION
STREET AREA TO BE CLOSED" is on file in the office of the City
Clerk, and reference is hereby made to said map or plan for
particulars as to said vacation.
3. The City Council elects to proceed under the provisions
of the STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941.
4. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Monday, the lst day of March,
1965, at 8:00 o'clock P. M. at the Council Chambers of the City
Council in the City Hall in the City of Burlingame is hereby fixec
as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in the
proposed vacation of said portion of said public street.
5. The City Clerk of said city shall cause this resolution
to be published once in the ADVANCE -STAR, a newspaper of general
circulation published in and circulated in said city which said
neWSIDaper is hereby designated for that purpose.
6. At least ten days before the date set for hearing, the
Director of Public Works of said city shall cause to be conspicu-
ously posted along the lines of that portion of said public

street proposed to be vacated at least three (3) notices of
vacation, not more than 300 feet apart, stating the time and
place of hearing and the passage of this resolution.
I, Herbert K. 14hite, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the
City Council held on the ist day of February 1965, and
adopted thereafter by the following votes:
Ayes: Councilmen: Crosby-Diederichsen-George-Martin.
Noes: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen:.Johnson
