HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - PC - 028-1994 RESOLUTION NO. 28-94 RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION SPECIAL PERMIT AND PARKING VARIANCE RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that: WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a special permit and parking variance for freight forwarding and for dimension at 1415 N. Carolan Avenue, APN: 026-101-060; property owner: Paul and Michele Boghossian 1415 N. Carolan Avenue; and WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on July 11, 1994 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that: 1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and categorical exemption per Section: 15301 - Existing Facilities, Class 1(a), Interior or exterior alterations involving such things as interior partitions, plumbing, and electrical conveyances: and 15301 - Existing Facilities Class 1(e) , Additions to existing structures provided that the addition will not result in and increase of more than 50% of the floor area of the structure before the addition, or 2,500 SF, whichever is less is hereby approved. 2. Said special permit and parking variance are approved subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such (variance and special permit are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting. 3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County/of San Mateo. 1 CHAIRMAN I, Mike Ellis -, Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 11th day of July , 1994 , by the following vote: AYES: COMMISSIONERS: DEAL, ELLIS, GALLIGAN, KELLY AND KEY NOES: COMMISSIONERS: NONE ABSENT: COMMISSIONERS: JACOBS AND MINK SECRETARY EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval categorical exemption and variance 340 PEPPER AVENUE effective JULY 5, 1994 1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped June 15, 1994 , Sheets SP-1, A-1, A-2 , A-5, A-6, A-8, and A-11; 2 . that the ceiling heights in the studio (572 SF) , living room (347 SF) , dining room (247 SF) and master bedroom (300 SF) shall not exceed 14 ' -011, 15 '-611 , 15 '-6" and 121 - 6" respectively; 3 . that the maximum height of the two story portion of the house .at the front of the lot shall be no greater than 30 '-0" to the top of the finished material at the ridge from elevation 50; and 4. that the project shall meet all Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Code requirements as amended by the City of Burlingame.
