RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING
CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND SIGN EXCEPTION
RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application
has been made for a sign exception for change of copy at 1010
Cadillac Way, APN: 026-233-080; property owner: James E. Hannay, 1010
Cadillac Way; and
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the
City of Burlingame on September 12 . 1994 , at which time it reviewed and
considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony
presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning
Commission that:
1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted
and reviewed, and comments received and addressed by this commission, it
is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project
set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and
categorical exemption Section 15301 - Existing Facilities Class 1 (g) , New
copy on existing on and off-premise signs and 15311 - Accessory
Structures Class 11 (a) , (b) , (c) consists of construction, or placement
of minor structures accessory to existing commercial, industrial, or
institutional facilities, including but not limited to:
(a) On premise signs is hereby approved.
2 . Said sign exception is approved subject to the conditions set
forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such sign exception
are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting.
3 . It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution
be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo.

of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission
held on the 12th day of September , 1994 , by the following vote:

effective SEPTEMBER 19, 1994
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submit-
ted to the Planning Department and date stamped August 11,
1994 Elevation Layout (11" X 1711) and Section (8k" X 1111) and
the maximum size of the 'Oldsmobile/Porsche' copy portion of
the pole sign shall be 190 SF;
2 . that the applicant shall apply for a sign exception for any
additional signs to be put on this site or any changes in copy
on these signs prior to installation of the sign or change in
copy; and
3 . that the project shall meet all Uniform Building and Uniform

WHEREAS, a negative declaration and categorical exemption has
been proposed and application has been made for a Master Sian
Program and Four (4) Sign Exceptions for sign area and number for
two secondary frontages (Trousdale and Murchison Drivel at 1801 to
1887 El Camino Real , Burlingame Plaza, zoned C-1; APN 025-122-
010/020/030/040/050/080/120/130; property owners: David Pedersen,
2105 Summit Drive; Patricia a. Britton, 1811 E1 Camino Real, Frank
Venturelli, 1533 Plaza Lane; Paul McGoldrick, 1871 El Camino Real„
Alan Sakamoto. 1887 E1 Camino Real; Steve J. Musich, P. 0. Box
1624 , San Mateo and Robert Lom, 613 Augusta Drive, Moraga ; and
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of
the City of Burlingame on July 25 , 1994 , at which time it
reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written
materials and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning
Commission that:
1. On the basis of the
