Date: 5.20.94 M�w�P —fin M— a�ret Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION NO . 42-94 RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND SPECIAL PERMIT RESOLVED , by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that : WHEREAS , a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a special permit for a snack bar addition to an existing gas station at 601 California Drive , APN : 029-131-380 ; Property owner : Roger and Beth Sperring , 157 Barroilhet Avenue ; and WHEREAS , said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on September 12 , 1994 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing ; NOW, THEREFORE , it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that : 1 . On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed , and comments received and addressed by this commission , it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment , and categorical exemption Section : 15301 - Existing Facilities Class 1 ( e) , Additions to existing structures provided that the addition will not result in an increase of more than 50% of the floor area of the structure before the addition , or 2 , 500 SF , whichever is less , is hereby approved . 2 . Said special permit is approved subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto . Findings for such Special Permit are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting . 3 . It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of San Mateo . i / 11 CHAIIN I , Mike Ellis , Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame , do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the 12th day of September 1994 by the following vote : AYES : COMMISSIONERS : ELLIS , GALLIGAN , KELLY AND KEY NOES : COMMISSIONERS : DEAL , JACOBS AND MINK ABSENT : COMMISSIONERS : NONE SECRETARY EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval categorical exemption and special permit 601 CALIFORNIA DRIVE effective SEPTEMBER 19, 1994 1. that the snack bar shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped July 29, 1994 Sheet 2, Elevations; and Sheet 1, Site Plan with the parking layout and landscaping shown on Sheet R1 (8;" X 1111) date stamped August 8, 1994; 2. that the conditions of the City Engineers' August 8, 1994 memo (one parking space next to the snack bar shall be signed for snack bar parking) and Chief Building Inspectors' August 8, 1994 memo (ADA signing required for the disabled accessible parking stall) shall be met; 3. that the snack bar shall be open 6:30 A.M. to 9:30 P.M. Monday through Friday; 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday; and 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
