Date: 10.18.94 IIIMaM"hk Margar t Monroe, City Planner RESOLUTION NO . 50-94 RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION AND AMENDMENT TO HILLSIDE AREA CONSTRUCTION PERMIT RESOLVED , by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that : WHEREAS , a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for an amendment to conditions of hillside area construction permit issued September 21 , 1993 to allow 2 . 161 increase in height of structure over height before addition at 1531 Los Altos Drive , APN : 027-012 -080 ; property owner : Nikita and Anna Derugin 1531 Los Altos Drive ; and WHEREAS , said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on October 11 , 1994 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials and testimony presented at said hearing ; NOW, THEREFORE , it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that : 1 . On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed , and comments received and addressed by this commission , it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment , and categorical exemption Section 15302 -Existing Facilities Class 1 ( a) Interior or exterior alterations involving such things as interior partitions , plumbing , and electrical conveyances is hereby approved . 2 . Said amendment to conditions of Hillside Area Construction Permit Issued September 21 , 1993 is approved subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto . Findings for such HACP are as set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting . 3 . It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records of the County of S n M4teo . //Lt'CHAIRMAN f" E a I , Mike Ellis Secretary of the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame , do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on the lith day of October , 1994 , by the following vote : AYES : COMMISSIONERS : ELLIS , JACOBS , KELLY , KEY AND GALLIGAN NOES : COMMISSIONERS : NONE ABSENT : COMMISSIONERS : DEAL AND MINK rl SECRETARY EXHIBIT "A" Conditions of approval categorical exemption and hillside area construction permit 1531 LOS ALTOS DRIVE effective OCTOBER 17, 1994 1. that the addition as built shall conform to the plans submitted to the Planning Department and date stamped September 3, 1993 Sheets 1 through 5 with a front setback of 31'-011, a rear setback of 42'-011, a left side setback at 81- 011, and a right side setback at 8'-611; 2. that the finish material used on all portions of the roof shall be nonreflective as approved by the Chief Building Inspector and City Planner; 3. that the highest point on the new roof of the remodeled house shall be 16'- 9" at the front of the house and the framing shall be surveyed to confirm this elevation and the survey accepted by the City Engineer before the final framing inspection is called for and the roofing material is attached; and 4. that the project shall meet all the requirements of the Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Codes as amended by the City of Burlingame.
