RESOLUTION APPROVING CATEGORICAL EXEMPTION
MASTER SIGN PERMIT AND SIGN EXCEPTION
FOR NUMBER OF SIGNS, AREA AND HEIGHT
RESOLVED, by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame that:
WHEREAS, a categorical exemption has been proposed and application has been made for a master
sin permit and sign exception for number of signs, area and height at_1017. 1019 and 1025 Rollins Road.
zoned C-2. APN Nos. 026-240-040. 026-240-300 and 026-210-310 ; property owner• A. G. Molakidis, 627
Occidental Avenue, San Mateo ; and =
WHEREAS, said matters were heard by the Planning Commission of the City of Burlingame on
February 13. 1995 , at which time it reviewed and considered the staff report and all other written materials
and testimony presented at said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, it is RESOLVED and DETERMINED by this Planning Commission that:
1. On the basis of the Initial Study and the documents submitted and reviewed, and comments
received and addressed by this commission, it is hereby found that there is no substantial evidence that the
project set forth above will have a significant effect on the environment, and categorical exemption Section
15301 Existing Facilities Class 1 minor exterior alterations (signs and 15311 - Accessory Structures Class 11
(a,b,c) consists of construction or placement of minor structures accessory to existing commercial...facilities,
including but not limited to: (a) on premise signs is hereby approved.
2. Said master sign permit and sign exception for number of signs, area and height is approved
subject to the conditions set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Findings for such master sign permit and
sign exception set forth in the minutes and recording of said meeting.
3. It is further directed that a certified copy of this resolution be recorded in the official records
of the County of San Mateo.

the foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission held on
the 13th day of February , 1995 , by the following vote:

Conditions of approval categorical exemption, master sign permit and sign exception for number
of signs, area and height
1017, 1019 & 1025 ROLLINS ROAD
effective FEBRUARY 21, 1995
1. that the project shall be built as shown on the plans submitted to the Planning Department
and date stamped January 9, 1995 site plans and sign elevations, in particular, that the
sign have 8' of clearance below the bottom of the sign and shall not be illuminated in any
manner;
2. that the property owner or tenant shall apply for a sign exception for any additional signs
to be placed on these parcels prior installation of the sign;
3. that the applicant apply for permits through the Building Department for the proposed
sign within 30 days of action on this application, and
4. that the project shall meet all Uniform Building and Uniform Fire Code requirements as
amended by the City.
