HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 025-2002RESOLUTION NO. 25-2002 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURLINGAME ADOPTING RESIDENTIAL TRAFFIC CALMING PROGRAM RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame: WHEREAS, the Public Works Department and the Traffic, Safety and Parking Commission (TSPC) have developed a Residential Traffic Calming Program (RTCP) that brings together the concepts and analyses to be used in applying traffic calming measures to specific neighborhoods and situations; and WHEREAS, this Program provides processes to involve the affected neighborhoods in evaluating and implementing these kinds of measures; and WHEREAS, this Program will be a resource for meeting the needs of the City's residential neighborhoods by enhancing the quality of life by mitigating negative traffic impacts and improving livability, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED: 1. The Residential Traffic Calming Program forwarded by the Traffic, Safety & Parking Commission is approved. 0--)o �a�K�-� MAYOR I, ANN T.
