A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY Of BURLINGAME SUP-
PORTING THE MODEL CITIES APPLICATION FOR
EAST PALO ALTO AND EAST MENLO PARK
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame
as follows:
WHEREAS, the need for planning and improvements in the
East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park areas should be granted a very
high priority among the needs of San Mateo County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the City of Burlingame approves, endorses and
supports the Model Cities application for the areas of East Palo
Alto and East Menlo Park and strongly urges that the grant be
awarded as soon as possible.
2. That the City Clerk transmit copies of this resolu-
tion to the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo and to
the East Palo Alto Municipal Council.

Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
19th day of August , 1968, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:
