Gentlemen:
Re: Community Support for a Four -Year
College in San Mateo County
Redwood City has requested that Burlingame support their
request for the construction of a four-year state college
in their Edgewood Hills area. One of the criteria for
obtaining favorable action from the State College Board
is a showing of community support. Without this showing,
their site will be reduced in priority in possible favor
of the Santa Clara County sites.
Therefore, it is recommended that a resolution be passed
supporting Redwood City's bid for a state college on their
proposed site.
