AWARDING CONTRACT FOR RESURFACING MISCELLANEOUS
CITY STREETS.
JOB No. 65-11
S.S. 107, 108 and III
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the invitation
of bids for the resurfacing of miscellaneous City streets; and
WHEREAS, on April 28, 1966, all bids received were
opened before the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, L. C. SMITH CO., a corporation, submitted the
lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of $97,711.87;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby
that the bid of L. C. SMITH CO., a corporation, for the sum of
$97,711.87 be, and the same hereby is, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to, and the Ci
of Burlingame, for the performance of said work of improvement,
and that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for an
on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract,
