RESOLUTION NO. 43 -68
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR STORM DRAIN IMPROVE-
MENTS -PARK DEPARTMENT GARAGE TO OAK GROVE
Job No. 68-9
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation
of bids for the installation of approximately 1,120 linear feet
of 21-inch storm drain, and all appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, on June 11, 1968, all bids received were
opened before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, HACKETT BROS., INC., a corporation, submitted
the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$12,640.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY
ORDERED that the bid of HACIETT BROS., INC., a corporation, for
the sum of $12,640.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the City
Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame, to execute said contract.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
