HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 024-1967RESOLUTION NO. 24-67 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR TENNIS COURT RESURFAC- ING - LAGUNA AVENUE Job No. 67-14 WHEREAS, the City Councilbas authorized an invitation of bids for the repaving of the Laguna Avenue tennis court con- sisting of an area approximately 110 feet by 120 feet; and WHEREAS, on March 29, 1967, all bids received were opened before the Director of Public Works; and WHEREAS, MALOTT & PETERSON-GRUNDY, a corporation, sub- mitted the lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of $4,486.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that the bid of MALOTT & PETERSON-GRUNDY, a corporation, for the sum of $4,486.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City of Burlingame for the performance of said work of improve- ment, and that the City Manager, be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame to execute said contract, Mayor I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingame, do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at a regular meeting of the city council held on the -1- 3rd day of April, 1967, and adopted thereafter by the following vote: AYES: Councilmen: Crosby-Diederichsen-George-Johnson- Martin.
