RESOLUTION NO. 40-68
A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR BIDS ON $850,000
FIRST DIVISION OF CITY OF BURLINGAME
MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1968
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, as follows:
1. Bids shall be called by the City Clerk of said City for
the sale of $850,000 First Division of City of Burlingame Munici-
pal Improvement Bonds of 1968, being the First Division of an
issue of bonds in the total principal amount of $1,250,000
approved by the voters of said City at an election thereon duly
held on October 10, 1967,
20 Notice thereof shall be given by the City Clerk causing
to be mailed copies of an Official Notice of Sale to various banks
and bondhouses and other persons interested as determined by the
Clerk, at least ten (10) days before the date said bids are to
be opened.
3e The Council will furnish the legal opinion of the law
firm of Wilson, Jones, Morton & Lynch, San Mateo, California,
unqualifiedly approving the legality of the proceedings and the
issuance of said bonds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and
correct copy of a resolution duly adopted and passed by the
City Council of the City of Burlingame, California, at a meeting
thereof held on the 3rd day of June , 1968, by the
following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Crosby-Diederichsen-George-Johnson-Martin.
NOES, Councilmen: None
ABSENT, Councilmen: None
