BROWN FOR INSPECTION SERVICES RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame that: A second agreement modifying the agreement, dated September 1 1966, with JOHN J. BROWN, be entered into for the performance of inspection services to be delegated to him from time to time by City Council, the City Manager, the Director of Public works, jor the Chief Building Inspector, as set forth in the modification lof agreement attached hereto. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Manager be, and he is hereby lauthorized for and on behalf of the City of Burlingame and the City Council to execute said agreement and that the same be lattested by the City Clerk. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said modification of agreement dated September 16, 1966, be effective on the 1st day of April, 1967. EDWARD D. GEORG , I, Herbert K. WHITE, CITY CLERK 1' 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 I 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL SERVICES This amended Agreement, made in the City of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of California, this 21st day of March , 1967, by and between the CITY OF BURLINGAME, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), first party, and JOHN J. BROWN, second party. This Agreement is based upon the following premises: a. The City is in need of inspection services of a technical nature. b. John J. Brown is willing to undertake this work for the City. C. City desires to employ John J. Brown for such purposes. Now, therefore, it is agreed as follows: 1. Term of Agreement. This Agreement shall continue in full force and effect until terminated by either party. 2. Termination. This agreement may be terminated by either party on thirty days notice in writing to the other. 3. Duties. John J. Brown shall perform such services as may from time to time be delegated to him by the City Council, the City Manager, the Director of Public Works or the Chief Building Inspector. 4. Consideration. As consideration for the performance of this Agreement, John J. Brown shall be paid by the City the sum of $733.00 per month, payable each month during the term hereof, and as long as John J. Brown shall perform his obligations hereunder, or until City and John J. Brown shall change the amount of such compensation by mutual agreement.
