AWARDING CONTRACT FOR PLAYGROUND IMPROVEMENTS
AND BASKETBALL COURT AT CUERNAVACA PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation of -
bids for playground improvements and basketball court at
Cuernavaca Park; and
WHEREAS, on May 15, 1968, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, F. D. SPERRY COMPANY, submitted the lowest
responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of $16,168.50.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of F. D. SPERRY COMPANY, for the sum of $16,168.50
be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the
City of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that
the City Manager, be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on
behalf of the City of Burlingame, to execute said contract.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolutinn was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 20th day
of May , 1968, and adopted thereafter by the
following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
Absent Councilmen:Diederichsen.
