AWARDING CONTRACT FOR RESURFACING OF MISCELLANEOUS STREETS
Job No. 68-6
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized an invitation of
ids for heater - remix method of resurfacing of approximately
142,000 square feet of pavement with asphalt concrete and appurten-
ant work; and
WHEREAS, on May 1, 1968, all bids received were opened
the City Clerk and the Director of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, BRAGATO PAVING CO., a corporation, submitted the
lowest responsible bid for doing said work for the sum of
$12,695.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED
that the bid of BRAGATO PAVING CO., a corporation, for the sum of
$12,695.00 be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a contract be entered into
between the successful bidder hereinabove referred to and the City
of Burlingame for the performance of said work and that the City
Manager, be, and he is hereby, authorized for and on behalf of the
City of Burlingame, to execute said contract.
