AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
FIRE STATION NO. 3
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Burlingame,
California, that:
14TEREAS, said Council has authorized an invitation of
bids for the construction of additions and alterations to Fire
Station No. 3; and
WHEREAS, on July 2, 1970, all bids received were opened
before the City Clerk, the City Manager and ALBERT W. KAHL, the
Architect employed by the City of Burlingame to prepare plans and
specifications for said additions and alterations; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible basic bid was that of
DYAL STONE, an individual doing business under the name and style
of DYAL STONE & ASSOCIATES, in the sum of $45,888,00; and
WHEREAS, an alternate bid was also advertised for,
opened and examined;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
1. That the City Council hereby rejects all of said
proposals or bids except that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing said work of construction to the
lowest responsible bidder, to -wit: DYAL STONE, an individual
doing business under the name and style of DYAL STONE & ASSOCIA
for the basic bid of $45,888,00, including the alternate bid.
2. That the City Manager of said city is hereby autho-
rized to make and enter into a written contract with said success-
£ul bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection

therewith, and the Clerk of said city is hereby directed to attest
his signature and to affix thereto the corporate seal of said city.
I, HERBERT K. WHITE, City Clerk of the City of Burlingamd,
do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced at
a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day of
July, 1970, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Amstrup-Crosby-Johnson-Mangini-Martin
NOES: Councilmen: None
