RESOLUTION DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON PORTION OF PUBLIC UTILITIES
EASEMENT CONVEYED TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
AND RECORDED APRIL 7, 1954, IN BOOK 2563 OF
OFFICIAL RECORDS OF SAN MATEO COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, AT PAGE 5687570.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Burlingame:
1. That the public interest and convenience require
and that it is the intention of said Council to vacate, abandon
and close a portion of a certain public utility easement herein-
after described.
2. That the said portion of said public utility ease-
ment which said Council intends to vacate is situated in the City
of Burlingame, County of San Mateo, State of California, and is
described as follows:
A portion of that easement described as PARCEL A
in Deed of Dedication of Public Utility Easement
granted by deed dated March 25, 1954 and recorded
in Vol. 2563 0. R. pages 568-570 San Mateo County
Records April 7, 1954 more particularly described
as follows:
A strip of land 10 feet wide located 5 feet on
each side of the following described centerline;
beginning at a point on the centerline of afore-
mentioned PARCEL A, said point of beginning being
N52021'40'E 5.05 feet, N45°4815011W 85.87 feet and
N520211401E 95.00 feet from the most westerly corner
of lot 21 block 5 as said lot and block are shown
on that certain map entitled "BURLINGAME MANOR,
BURLINGAME, CALIFORNIA". which map was filed in the
office of the Recorder of San Mateo County
September 12, 1946 in Book 26 of Maps at pages 15
and 16: thence N74°321101E 59.10 feet to a point
in the Northeasterly line of lot A as shown on
aforesaid map of Burlingame Manor
3. For a particular description of that portion of said
public utility easement vacated hereunder, reference is hereby
made to that certain plan, dated December 19, 1966, numbered
A-2055, and entitled "Easement to be Vacated and Easement to be
Granted Within Lot 10All Burlingame Manor No. 11, on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Burlingame.

4. That the City Council hereby elects to proceed under
the Public Service Easements Vacation Law, §§50430 through 50445
of the Government Code of the State of California.
5. Notice is hereby given that Monday, the 20th day of
March, 1967, at 8 o'clock p.m., at the Council Chambers of the
City Council in the City Hall, in the City of Burlingame, is here-
by fixed as the time and place of hearing of persons interested in
the proposed vacation of said portion of said easement.
6. The Clerk of said city shall cause this resolution
to be published once in the ADVANCE -STAR, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in said city, which said
newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose.
7. The City Engineer of said city shall cause to be
posted conspicuously along the lines of that portion of said
public utility easement proposed to be vacated, and not more than
300 feet apart, at least 3 notices of proposed easement vacation,
stating the time and place of hearing and the passage of this
resolution.

introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council heb on the
20th day of February, 1967, and adopted thereafter by the follow-
ing vote:
AYES: Councilmen: Diederichsen-George-Johnson.
NOES: Councilmen: None
Absent Councilmen: Crosby -Martin.
