COMMENDING ALAN S. HART FOR HIS COOPERATION AND SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF BURLINGAME
WHEREAS, Alan S. Hart, District Four Engineer of the
State Division of Highways, has served many years in the public
service, and
WHEREAS, Alan S. Hart has cooperated with the City of
Burlingame in achieving better transportation facilities and
improvement of the Broadway Overpass, and
WHEREAS, Alan S. Hart is about to retire after many years
of fine public service,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City
of Burlingame that the City of Burlingame highly commends Alan
S. Hart for his cooperation, assistance and service to the city
and to the district and for his many years of conscientious
public service, and
That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Alan S. Hart
and to the State Highway Commission.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the 6th day
of December, 1971, and adopted thereafter by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmen Amstrup, Johnson, Mangini, Martin.
NOES: Councilmen None.
Absent Councilmen: Crosby.
