HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso - CC - 029-19691 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 Kf ■ RESOLUTION NO. 29-69 DECLARING NOXIOUS AND DANGEROUS WEEDS AND RUBBISH A NUISANCE RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of Burlingame: WHEREAS, all weeds growing upon any private property or in any public street, lane, way or alley, within the City, and bearing seeds of a wingy or downy nature or which because of having attain ed such a large growth and being dry shall become a fire menace or which are otherwise noxious or dangerous, and all rubbish, refuse or dirt on parkways, sidewalks or private property; and WHEREAS, said weeds, rubbish and refuse constitute a public nuisance; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DECLARED that the said weeds do now constitute and will continue to constitute a public nuisance; and it is ordered that the said public nuisance be abated in the manner provided by law, and that such nuisance exists upon all the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, avenues, courts, parkways, private property and places within the City of Burlingame. The properties upon which said nuisance exists are all of the streets, squares, lanes, alleys, courts, avenues, parkways, places and private property within said City, as shown, described and delineated on the several maps of the properties of said City whit are recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo, reference in each instance for the description of any particular streets or property being hereby made to the several maps aforesaid, and in the event of there being several subdivisio maps upon which the same lots are shown, reference is hereby made to the latest subdivision map. And it is ordered that Monday, the 5:th day of May,;, 1969, at the hour of eight o'clock p.m., of said day, and at the Council Chambers of the City Council of The City of Burlingame, located in 32 the City Hall of said City, be and the same is hereby fixed as 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 I 13 14 15 16 17 18 III 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 the time and place when objections to the proposed removal of such weeds shall be heard and given due consideration. The Superintendent of Streets of said City of Burlingame is hereby ordered and directed to cause notice of said hearing to be given in the time, manner and form provided by law.
