RESOLUTION NO. 11-68
A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE CITY TREASURER TO
PERFORM THE DUTIES OF PAYROLL CLERK, PRESCRIBING
HIS DUTIES AS SUCH PAYROLL CLERK AND FIXING THE
COMPENSATION FOR SUCH DUTIES, AND RESCINDING
RESOLUTION NO. 14-67, ADOPTED MARCH 6, 1967.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of The City of Burlingame,
California, that in addition to the duties prescribed by law and
1by ordinance, the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to perform the functions and fulfill the duties of
Payroll Clerk.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that such function and duties shall
include, but are not limited to, the preparation of paychecks;
the compensation and maintenance of all necessary, convenient or
proper fiscal records relating to State Employees' Retirement
System; deductions for Federal Withholding Tax, State Employees'
Retirement System and Municipal Employees' Group Life and Health
Insurance; the preparation of all payroll records required by
the provisions of the United States Internal Revenue Code required
to be prepared, maintained or delivered by any employer, together
with the preparation and filing of such reports as may now or
hereafter be required by the provisions of said Internal Revenue
Code; and the preparation and filing of such reports as may now
or hereafter be required by the provisions of the Labor Code of
the State of California pertaining to workman's Compensation Insur
ance.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Treasurer shall receive, fo3
the foregoing duties, the sum of $236.00 per month commencing
March 1, 1968 and ending April 15, 1968.

I, Herbert K. White, City Clerk, do hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the City Council held on the 5th day of February, 1968,
by the following vote:
